Highlights from the Redondo Beach Mission
Community Activities
- Members of the Redondo Beach Chamber since 2000.
- Adopted Redondo Beach through Heal the Bay Foundation in 2000. We annually do three Beach Cleanups a year. Offered free surf lessons on the beach, sandcastle contests, ice cream, and collected bags of trash.
- Partnered with the Redondo Beach Chamber and Conte Productions for four years in support of the Super Bowl 10K. Volunteered in many ways as needed by the group.
- Organized and distributed Awards
- Offered Free Stress Tests and Massages to the runners
- Assisted the Police Dept in Race Traffic Control
- Distributed free calendars and music CD’s
- Assisted in stuffing the runners goodies bags
- Sponsored a Joy of Creating Booth on the Pier and distributed free Music CD’s from well know artists.
- Provided Raffle gift baskets and silent auction items from local businesses and International Celebrities for the Chamber-sponsored, Tea by the Sea fund raising event.
- Volunteer Ministers offer ‘assists’ for injured and ill persons in the hospitals.
- Trained 1% of parishioners as CERT members.
We have assisted over 2000 people in the South Bay cities over the last 7 years improve the conditions in their life through one of our many Life Improvement courses. We offer over 50 Life Improvement courses ranging from a Technology for Study – Learning How to Learn, How to Improve Relationships with Others, Financial Management, How to live with Children, How to Start or Maintain a Successful Marriage and many others.

Local S. Bay Scientologist team up with Heal the Bay and clean up the
Beach 3 times a year.
Heal the Bay is non-profit advocacy group with more than 10,000 members working for a safe and healthy Santa Monica Bay. We use research, education, community action, and policy programs to achieve this goal. Now in its second decade, Heal the Bay continues to fight to enhance and restore Southern California beaches and coastal waters for people and marine life.

Grand Opening of The Church of Scientology Mission of Redondo Beach
The Church of Scientology Mission of Redondo Beach opened in 2000.
Our Grand Opening Celebration in the Riviera Village was June 7, 2002
Australian Multi-Platinum recording artist Kate Ceberano opened the event. Executive Director Anne Bruce, shared the Aims of Scientology.
