Most of these courses generally require 10 to 20 hour of study. The Church of Scientology Mission of the Beach Cities delivers these courses six days a week (Monday through Friday and Sunday). You set a schedule that works for you. These courses aren’t delivered in a group setting or by lecture. They are delivered at the Beach Cities Mission with the help of an instructor who assists you to understand and apply the materials yourself, rather than explain them to you. In this way, these courses are done at your own pace.

A person can make rapid improvement in a specific area of his life with a Life Improvement Course. These provide Scientology fundamentals directly related to the area for which a person wants immediate help.
The Scientology Life Improvement Courses are designed to fit the different needs of individuals based on their knowledge of Dianetics and Scientology, what books they may have read and their situation in life. These contain the basics of Scientology technology which can bring immediate improvement to a specific aspect of an individual’s existence.
The confusions of modern living require solutions. A difficulty in a relationship, a business or family situation can grow and consume far too much attention. In fact, it is these seemingly commonplace problems that often work to distract one from the more important things in life, particularly one’s spiritual growth.
